Domestic students enrolled in a degree-granting program taking a minimum of 9+ credits (not enrolled exclusively in online courses or short-term courses) are required to enroll in the Dean College student health insurance plan unless proof of comparable coverage has been provided to waive.

If you use the student health insurance plan and withdraw within the first 31 days of classes, your coverage will be cancelled and BCBSMA will proceed with recovery of those paid claims to you directly.

If you do not return to Dean College for spring 2025 semester, then you will not be eligible to continue and the last day of coverage will be December 31, 2024. Any student who does not meet eligibility at the beginning of the semester will not remain enrolled.

Please Note: Application for enrollment must be submitted within 31 days in which the qualifying event occurred. Improper documentation will result in a return of premium and a delay of coverage.
